We currently offer a variety of other web tools and resources that help English learners from all over the world, including multimedia, news, online research, dictionary, daily facts, internet television, internet music search, and much, much more. We plan on making this site both informative, as well as entertaining and transformative in nature, sharing the best America has to offer with the rest of the world.
The author of this website came to the United States in the early 1980s, after living in a repressive Eastern European communist regime, and became a teacher of English as a Second Language in California, USA, helping students of all ages and from all backgrounds improve their American English skills and adjust to the new culture. In 2005, while a teacher at Lancaster High School, in West Lancaster, California, I.E. Sersea, M.A., M.A.T., aka MaestroSersea founded the club Welcome2USA for ESL and foreign exchange students who wished to learn more about American culture.
As an American citizen who cares deeply about USA and the opportunities it offers to people from all over the world, I wish to welcome you all to Welcome2USA, where we will include media and information about American life and key topics of interest to all.
